DINOSAURS WILL DIE

Snowboarding has been my passion since I was fourteen. I can remember my first day on a rental board, standing at the top of the bunny hill, gazing down what seemed at the time like Mt. Everest. As I strapped into my bindings and dropped in, I started flying down the seemingly endless hill. Unfortunately I only made it about 10 feet before falling on my ass. However, with that, I was hooked, I was impassioned, and I never looked back. My obsession turned into my way of life.

My first sponsor was a local snowboard & surf shop.  Through this shop I received a free, locally made, snowboard.  Soon I was approached by an other popular local manufacture to be on their team.  Invasion Snowboards supported me for a few years, until another opportunity came forward.  Internationally known, Option Snowboards, was putting together an amateur team for young riders worldwide. I was approached by the team manager to ride for them and be a part of their fresh team of up-and-comers. With sponsorship from Option Snowboards came editorial and advertising coverage in international magazines, global travel, and support to make Snowboarding my dream job.

In the off-season Option Snowboards was my school, sitting in on board meetings learning about marketing, product management, graphic design and how a business is run.  After a few years I cut all ties with Option and moved on to start my own business with Sean Genovese. We were both at the same point in our careers and looking for a change; the change came with Dinosaurs Will Die Snowboards. A true snowboarder owned and operated company; we became the marketing team, designers, accountants, and riders.

Dinosaurs Will Die has been operating for over 4 seasons and is now distributed in 14 different countries throughout the world. It has become a company with a loyal cult following.  We remain unwavering, and with our feet planted directly in, the CORE snowboard market. This devotion has become my LIFE.
